You have just entered on the Phoenix' Private Chat room. This chat has been possible thanks to the free service of Parachat. Chats are one of the most common and popular uses of the Internet, and consist in a conversation in real time with people from other parts of the world. But for having a good time you have to respect some rules, like not insulting other chatters or the use of a correct language.
When you enter into the chat you will find out that Parachat asks for your nickname (the name with which you will be recognised in chats) and, if you want to, your real name and e-mail adress too (I would like you very much to include at least your e-mail adress). Afterwards, the chatting programme will begin to load into your computer. Don't worry if it lasts a bit! As soon as you are in, you'll see a list of the current chatters, some buttons in the top and other buttons in the bottom. If you want to ignore other's messages, just click on his nickname and press button "Ignore User". If you want to talk privately with other user, click on his nickname in the list and clik on "Private Message". If you want to chat with me, you should better ask for it by e-mail.
